Addition in Surra,

Surra, Kuwait - 2024

The inspiration for this design was apparent from the beginning. The existing house is a beautifully paired down modern interpretation of regional architecture built in a row of similarly designed houses. As per our client’s needs, we extended and added on top of the existing house, having fun with the resulting spaces and the challenge of bringing the house into 2024. We added an open living space, 3 bedrooms, a family room and a dewaniya.
