Located in, you guessed it, a basement, this project involved the repurposing and redesign of spaces in a beautiful older Kuwaiti house. The existing pool was kept as is, and being the only source of natural light, all the rooms look onto it. The arches and natural materials soften up the modern aesthetic of the basement and reference the great neo-Arabic style of the house.
