Vernacular, or everyday language, is the way we communicate on a daily basis. Whether visually or verbally, locality defines and shapes the places we love. It is an ever evolving means of representation and relation. ‘Vernacularity’ means there’s a seat at the table for every day and age.

Founded by Architect Sulaiman AlBader, a University of Miami Alumnus experienced in public housing and private design work, estudio al’imara almahalliya (Studio for Local Architecure) is a design studio that provides architectural solutions that create a sense of place and belonging. Our design services range from concept development all the way to site supervision.
